The SWIFT Center project team

The SWIFT Center has a robust, professional project team that is ready to help the right developer make their dreams at the SWIFT Center a reality.

The Port of Skagit- your partner at SWIFT

Governed by an elected board of three commissioners, the Port of Skagit serves as an economic development engine for Skagit County by concentrating on their mission, Working Together for the Greater Good of the Skagit Valley. At the same time, they take care to provide transparent governance and excellent public service at minimal cost to the taxpayers in their district.

Conveniently located in Northwest Washington’s fertile Skagit Valley, found midway between the metropolitan areas of Seattle, Washington, and Vancouver, British Columbia, the Port of Skagit owns and operates five key facilities: the Skagit Regional Airport, the Bayview Business Park, the La Conner Marina, the Watershed Business Park, and the SWIFT Center in Sedro-Woolley. Combined, the Port’s five facilities are home to more than 100 businesses that employ some 1,800 workers in sustainable household wage jobs, and they still have plenty of room to grow.

RMC Architects- architect of record for SWIFT

RMC Architects in Bellingham, WA believe architecture should be a celebration of its unique setting—reflecting the values, culture, history, geography, and diversity of people and place. In this way, architecture strengthens community. They seek inspiration from this and add a dash of sustainability, adaptability, and durability to the mix to create projects that endure.

Their firm practice revolves around more than excellent design…it is also client focused. Clear communication, empathetic listening, transparency, and responsiveness are essential. Their clients’ vision, goals, timeline, and budget go hand in hand with a project’s success. Along the way, they aim to make the process enjoyable, and the result, a building that makes everyone proud.
