Imagine possibility at the SWIFT Center
225 acres of Olmsted-designed property and buildings ready for their new life
The beautiful grounds of the SWIFT Center, located in the gateway between Seattle and the North Cascades, are more than just a monument of a bygone era. They have been reimagined through the efforts of the Port of Skagit, together with many other local partners, as a place brimming with possibility.
The 225-acre campus is home to hundreds of thousands of square feet of Olmsted-designed landscapes, the same architects who designed New York’s Central Park.
The Port of Skagit acquired the property to promote development of a destination mixed-used campus that has research and development, manufacturing, hospitality, and commercial venues all while preserving the historic character and great public spaces at SWIFT.
